Minister of Finance Dijsselbloem late today know that there is limited room for tax cuts. The minister does not want the government deficit goes up. The unions want the government mainly makes work of reducing unemployment.
In response to the figures on the economic recovery by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) yesterday presented says minister Dijsselbloem:
“There is some reservation for tax cuts, but it is really limited.”
The Finance Minister warns of too high expectations, he does not want the government deficit goes up.
“The margins are really small. Each additional burden means that the deficit kicks in, and we should not let that happen. “
The unions want the government gives priority to the jobs plan that they presented early July. The FNV, CNV and VCP did 58 proposals to the government to reduce unemployment. One proposal was to the workweek for the elderly to shorten so that there is more work for young people.
