Price of monument rises harder than just house – NOS

Since the low point in 2013, the prices of monumental houses with 17 percent. That is substantially more than the increase of 11 per cent of ordinary homes. That report venue NVM.

The average monument now costs 463.000 euro. Per square meter, is a monument more than 50 percent more expensive than a regular house. That is because national, provincial and municipal monuments are often in historic inner cities, and usually look nicer and more interesting than a thirteen-in-a-dozen-house. The cities with the most national monuments are Amsterdam, Utrecht, Maastricht, Leiden and Haarlem.

The prices of monuments, however, are harder increased, but during the crisis, decreased even more. Between 2008 and 2013 were monuments on average, 16 percent cheaper; ordinary dwellings decreased when 13 percent in price.
