OPEC and non-OPEC countries decide to limit production NU.nl

The non-OPEC countries have said that from 1 January a total of 558.000 barrels per day, up pumps. This is less than the original target of 600,000 barrels, but still it is the largest discount ever from non-OPEC countries. Two weeks ago, OPEC already 1.2 million barrels less to produce.

The appointments are made to the price of oil up. For more than two years, there is unrest about the falling oil prices. The deal about this between the two groups of countries is the first since 2001.
