Iran buy for the first time in decades, aircraft from the American manufacturer Boeing. There is agreement on the delivery of eighty aircraft in the next ten years. With the deal, is converted approximately to 15.7 billion euros.
The country could not do business with American companies by the trade sanctions that were instituted after the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Early this year, a large part of the sanctions lifted after an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program.
In June, signed between Iran and Boeing already have a preliminary agreement. Then it went even a hundred aircraft. For the transaction was approval of the American authorities and that there is now, reports the Iranian state news agency.
According to Boeing, the project work for about 100,000 people in the U.s. aviation industry. The first aircraft is expected in 2018 to Iran, delivered.
