Investor GR8 Investments makes Monday known the eighteen AC Restaurants to have sold to La Place. GR8 Investments is an investment vehicle of three grandchildren of the founders of the hotel – and restaurant chain, Van der Valk.
How many La Place, in the hands of Jumbo, for the AC Restaurants to pay for, is not published. Already in november, it was announced that GR8 in agreement with Jumbo regarding the acquisition of a number of restaurants.
GR8 took the eighteen Dutch snelwegrestaurants of AC in november last year about the Italian catering Autogrill. Also, seven hotels, five Burger King restaurants and two Starbucks cases were part of the agreement to the value of 22.7 million euros.
These last items will remain in the hands of GR8. The hotels will be converted to a new formula in the driesterrensegment.
