Charles Vögele bankrupt in the Netherlands – Telegraaf.nl

    The Amsterdam district court has agreed, and the two curators appointed to the company during the settlement of the bankruptcy to lead.

    Sempione Retail AG, which since late last year, a majority of parent company Charles Vögele Holding AG, has already in september, when it bid on all the shares of the company first announced that it would focus on the strategic markets of Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia.

    For that reason, the company has in the past few months all options for the company to continue examined, but without result. The Dutch owner saw, ultimately, no other option than to file for bankruptcy for the Dutch organization.

    Charles Vögele since 1999, active in the Netherlands. It employs 700 people spread over 95 stores and the head office in Breukelen, the netherlands.

    The curators keep the shops provisionally open for the sale of stocks, and had a spokesman to the ANP. Also they look at whether there are opportunities for a new start. ,,The entire company is difficult, but for larger sites in areas where there is a large audience, may be interested in,” said the spokesman.
