The 230 employees of the glass plant in Schiedam, the netherlands lose their job. In August, close to the owner, the American O-I, the doors.
According to the trade union CNV vakmensen came the announcement of the closure today as a total surprise. O-I Manufacturing, which also has dealerships in Leerdam and Maastricht, says that ‘Schiedam’ no longer cost-effective.
