“Quarter Dutch housing prices rise by Amsterdam – NU.nl

That concludes Rabobank in its quarterly report on the housing market. Three percent of all homes in the Netherlands is in Amsterdam. The proportion of Amsterdam in the total Dutch housing market increased in the last twenty years, however, from 2 percent to 9 percent.

The turnover of the Amsterdam home sales rose in the same period increased from 280 million euros a year to 4.3 billion euros per year.

house prices in the Netherlands rise this year and next year to grow by 5

percent. The growth in the number of homes sold leveled off in 2016 and 2017 according to market experts to between 200,000 and 220,000 homes. This is because the construction is lagging behind the rising demand in the housing market.
