“Luxury Tax” on sparkling beverages expire by 2017 – NU.nl

The special rate did not apply to cheaper bottles of prosecco with a screw cap. According to RTL ten million bottles are sparkling beverage sold annually. The adjustment of the tariff will cost approximately 10 million euros.
