Vacationers, sightseers and business travelers from Germany spent according to figures from the Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS) EUR 4.9 billion in 2015. The total was 10.2 billion euros.
German holidaymakers Netherlands accounted for about 1.7 billion euros. Annually about four million German tourists in the Netherlands on holiday.
In the first quarter of 2016 are again mostly German tourists who incur expenditure in the Netherlands.

The Belgians are some distance at number two. They gave last year’s 1.4 billion euros in the Netherlands. Three are visitors from the UK, followed by the United States, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, China and Switzerland.
