Of the goods covered by rail in the Netherlands, 90 percent of the border, the Central Bureau reports for Statistics (CBS) on Tuesday.
In other European countries the percentage is average at 40 per cent. Latvia is the only European country with a higher percentage of cross-border transport.
In Germany it less than a third in Poland less than a quarter in the United Kingdom 3 percent.
