Quarter Dutch lost more than 7 percent in purchasing power in 2013 – Yahoo! News

Most Dutch had expenditure in 2013 than the year before, less money, according to new figures from the CBS. 56 percent of people had less purchasing power in 2013 than in 2012

quarter of people went even 7.1 percent or more on backwards. CBS looked at whether people had to spend more or less last year than in 2012 In this dynamic purchasing power figures are taken into account people who are laid off, get a new job or retire.

Good news
The median purchasing power, which a normal person has to spend, was 1.1 percent decline. People with jobs went just a little bit (0.2 percent) on forward but entrepreneurs (-3.8 percent) and people on benefits (-2.3 percent) lost purchasing power.

On the other hand, a quarter of the people went 5.9 percent or more in advance. Ten percent of the Dutch in 2013 had even one-fifth more to spend than in the previous year

Hard hits entrepreneurs
The hardest hit are the entrepreneurs. A quarter of them went there with more than 18.4 percent decline. On the other hand, a quarter of companies also declined by more than 9.7 percent ahead. 59 percent of business lost purchasing power.

In percentage lost people on benefits less income, a quarter of them went there with more than 5.8 percent on backwards. But it is also true that a whopping 69 percent of people on benefits in 2013 had less purchasing power than in 2012
