Energy is more expensive than necessary. The energy bills is 61 per cent of network costs and taxes and that share should go down.
That argues ceo Patrick Lammers, Essent Saturday in the AD. According to him, especially the network administrators responsible for the high energy bill.
Operators such as Liander, Stedin and Enexis make a lot of profit, but sticking that money, according to him, wrongly in commercial activities. Also, he feels that the companies need to downsize.
“The operators are large and bulky. Take a look at the battle
that we have made since we have been privatised. The past, we had 10,000 employees, is now 4000.” Lammers found that the Authority Consumer and Market (ACM) is quick to enforce that the operators of their network costs lower.

A spokesman for Liander surprised about the utterances of Lammers. They are not correct, ” he says. “The bills make the netbeheerderskosten 10 percent to 15 percent, while the leverancierskosten 40 percent. The costs that we charge to decline since 2014, and will continue to decline until at least 2021,” said the spokesman.
