Nearly 108,000 millionaires in the Netherlands – NU.nl

That’s five thousand more than in 2013, according to figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) announced Thursday. In total, 1.4 percent of Dutch households have a capacity of at least 1 million.

Together, these millionaires possess 340 billion in assets. This involves the capacity minus the value of the personal property and any mortgage debt.

Variations

Between 2006 and 2014 fluctuated, the number of millionaires and the overall millionaire saving on power, but since 2012 the number of millionaires grew steadily at an annual 5 percent.

Some people have one year millionaire, and another year gone. In 2009, for example, took the total power off by falling share prices.

Many households were thus below the limit of EUR 1 million in assets. In addition, separations also affect the ability of a household
