The housing prices in the city of Utrecht those of Amsterdam chase. An owner-occupied home in the City is in the third quarter more expensive than before the crisis in 2008. In Amsterdam house prices since since the beginning of this year, reports the Central Bureau for Statistics.

In comparison with 2009, the number of young buyers (under 25 years) is halved, and the share of older buyers (65 and older) doubled. Most of the buyers are between 25 and 34 years.
