Busker (1960) is currently a member of the FNV board and responsible for the portfolios care and pensions. Previously, he was chairman of the National police union.
Busker says to the police to have experienced how much he could get through together in action. “I’ve also noticed that you really only a fist can make it, when you first get serious with your own supporters are going to talk. That experience, I would like to bring to the FNV fight for real jobs and a fair society,” says Busker.
“A strong union is not only good for the members, but also for the whole society. Because otherwise you’ll get blown free market and it only runs for the money instead of about people.”
General secretary of the board Leo Hartveld mentions Busker to be a powerful candidate. “We know him as a team player with a keen vision and great commitment, and find him all the most suitable candidate”, says Hartveld.
Police
When Busker was 26 years old, he began working at the municipal police of Amsterdam. Later he was active at amsterdam airport Schiphol. On his 32nd, he was active in the Marechausseevereniging Marver. He is eight years long president of this association.
In the past eight years,
was a Busker, chairman of the National police union. Since 2012, he sat also in the board of the FNV. In 2016, he became a member of the board of directors.

The more than one million members of the union will be between 1 February and 9 march referendum voting on the new board, a new chairman and a new ledenparlement. The outcome of the elections is on Friday, march 10, announced.
The previous chairman Ton Heerts laid last summer its position. Since then, the trade union led by vice-presidents Ruud Kuin, Catelene Passchier and Gijs van Dijk.
