Euro Disney, the operator of Disneyland Paris, has announced a recapitalization of a billion. The plan is supported and guaranteed by the American parent The Walt Disney Company.
Since the emergence struggling Euro Disney with a lot of debt. Due to the weaker economy, the park also attracts fewer visitors.
In the first half of its financial year 2013-2014 Euro Disney suffered a net loss of 103.6 million euros.
Euro Disney sets approximately 15,000 people and has in Marne-la-Vallée near Paris two theme parks.
Disneyland Paris, however, remains the most important private tourist destination in Europe, but saw its attendance fall back last year with a million people below the mark of 15 million.
