Car sales are still lagging in 2103. In the first three quarters, there are 284 486 new cars sold 5.5 percent less than last year.
according to figures from BOVAG, RAI Association and RDC. In September, 30,214 new cars were put on the badge, 3.8 percent less than the same month in 2013, the decline leveled off thus although compared to the month before, but the restoration of the car is still lacking.
The BOVAG and the RAI Association have found that investments in housing and mortgage for many individuals a higher priority. In the business segment of the industry associations expect still opleveing by the end of the year due to the tightening of the CO2 standards for the additional tax liability at January 1, 2015
Volkswagen after nine months is still the most popular brand with 30,944 cars. Peugeot is in second place with 24,275 units, followed by Renault (22,781), Opel (18,217) and Ford (16,332). In the models, the VW Golf after nine months, the winner (12,563 units), followed by the Renault Clio (10,893), Skoda Octavia (8640), Volkswagen Up! (8021) and the Peugeot 308 (7052).
