Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, the daughter of Freddy Heineken, has been criticized by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). She gets an administrative penalty of € 375,000, because transactions in Heineken Holding been reported. Too late

De Carvalho-Heineken bought between September 9 and December 21, 2013 in 61 transactions for approximately € 50 million of shares purchased in Heineken Holding, the major shareholder in the Amsterdam Brewery. She did so through L’Arche Green, a vehicle that holds a controlling interest in the family business. The family behind the brewer regularly buys additional shares to maintain control.
