Most unemployed in Groningen Province – NU.nl

The northerners repay Flevoland. As unemployment fell from 9.3 to 7.7 percent.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the figures Tuesday brought out. Zealand has the lowest unemployment rate: 5.5 percent last year. That, too, is equal to the year before. In the ten other provinces decreased the percentage.

Also in the four major cities, unemployment decreased. Rotterdam has the highest unemployment. Last year was 12 percent unemployed. In The Hague, it was 10 percent, 7.7 percent in Amsterdam and Utrecht 7.3 percent. Of the four cities of Rotterdam has the most non-western immigrants and most

educated. Utrecht is slightly more than half the population is highly educated. For the Netherlands is that more than a quarter.

The unemployment rate in the Netherlands last year was 6.9 percent. A year earlier it was 7.4 percent. It was the first decline since the beginning of the economic crisis in 2008.
