At least 3350 employees in suspension troubled TSN Care retain their jobs. They can get to work on Family Assistance, part of Buurtzorg Netherlands, and a number of other health care providers, while maintaining current employment. That let the administrators and the Association of Dutch Municipalities Thursday.
The administrators emphasize that this is a preliminary result. They spoke with 99 of the 137 municipalities that have a contract with TSN. “We are not there yet and will continue our efforts to raise further the number of 3350 jobs,” the directors. In the coming days they expect reactions of the other municipalities.
Unsure

Buurtzorg had shown interest in the acquisition of 75% of the clients and employees of TSN. The advantage of this plan was that clients would remain solid support. But the company also required that the municipalities would pay a minimum of € 21 per hour and that they would invest in training and retraining of staff TSN
a bridge too far demands
For many municipalities appear to require a bridge too far. In recent weeks it became clear that few municipalities wanted to go to the offer of Buurtzorg. Major
Municipalities give different reasons not to participate. Often get local providers, who already have a contract with the municipality, to take precedence over the contract of TSN. Others shy away from the required investment: municipalities have offers from parties who claim that investment to have no need or they fear being accused by existing providers of unlawful State aid to Buurtzorg
Domper administrators
The ricochet from one country solution is also a setback for the administrators of TSN and Secretary of State Martin van Rijn of Health. They rallied behind the plan Buurtzorg because this would be the best solution for their customers and employees. They did a remarkable call to municipalities to choose Buurtzorg.
Thursday called Van Rijn councilors of municipalities still working on a solution as quickly as possible to take a decision. “And the uncertainty for clients and staff to be as short as possible. I trust that they get good agreements, “says Van Rijn in a comment.
Pay Cut
TSN Care early late November moratorium on shortly after a judge ruled that the company unilaterally by the staff wages if lower. That reduction was in accordance with the board of TSN necessary because municipalities would pay far too low tariffs for the service home care.
TSN’s Care the largest national provider of household help, and part of the larger TSN group. The other business units would not be affected by the problems in the thuiszorgtak.
