Housing keeps the momentum going – Financieele Dagblad

The number of homes sold was released more than a quarter higher in January than in the same month last year. In total, 11 907 homes were sold, compared with 9437 in January 2015. The number of transactions is thus almost at the level before the crisis. In January 2008 12,200 homes were sold in January.

This has the Land Registry announced Wednesday. Compared to December, there was a decrease of 45%. December is usually the busiest month of the year because many transactions are completed before the end of the year.

Utrecht

Especially in Utrecht attracts the housing substantially to. The number of

transactions in the province increased by 37% compared to January last year. The smallest increase was seen in Flevoland, where the number of sales only increased by 11%.
