Pensioenfonds ABP lowers the premium for the retirement and survivor’s pension for 2015 of 21.6 % to 19.6%. This report ABP Thursday.
It is the pension for ABP pension scheme and ABP pension. For soldiers the premium is currently 26.9% of pensionable salary after deduction of the franchise, the portion of the salary on which military pay no pension. From 1-1-2015 this premium drops to 20.5%.
The premium decreases mainly because the temporary recovery surcharge on the premium lapses. The recovery storage was a temporary increase in the premium which was introduced in 2009. This was part of the recovery plan to improve the financial position of ABP.
The premium for 2015 is also based on the agreement on the new pension per 1-1-2015 that the Pensions corresponded. The Pensions Board is the body where social partners agree on the content of the settlement.
