In Amersfoort, two people died in a lightning strike. Reported that the Safety Region Utrecht (VRU).
The two victims were by lightning hit in Park Randenbroek.
According to the KNMI come in the Netherlands on average one or two people a year through the natural phenomenon to life. Before, when there were fewer arresters, there were probably more. How many injuries is not known. There are also indirect victims because of outbreaks of tree falls or fire.
