The NS must still high turnstiles places on the major stations Rotterdam Central Station and Amsterdam Central Station. That is a substantial majority, reports the AD . The NS morning was not available for comment.

Fines for jumping over it

Last weekend at Rotterdam Central over one hundred fines handed out to travelers about the gates over jumps. The closed gates are found to be too low to travelers – who do not want to pay for a ticket – to stop.

Now the parties are VVD, SP, D66, PVV and CDA that the gates miss their target and that the NS higher gates must place to stop black drivers. The government is also advocating high turnstiles at The Hague Central and Utrecht Central, which now are no turnstiles

Betty de Boer (VVD) said.

“It should not become a national sport of the people to go hurdling at the stations. These people deliberately drive black. The NS must still look to high loopholes. “

The railway as a public company can not easily disregard the wishes of the House. However, the company believes that there are two good reasons to put low gates at major stations: the ‘looks better’ and there are enough people present to maintain if used incorrectly. “These are incidents which we make short work,” says NS. “We will take additional measures. More enforcement and fines of 125 euros for freeloaders’
