‘Holiday pay needed to get around’ – Dutch Newspaper

The holiday does not always go on vacation. According to the economic office of ABN AMRO have 16 percent of the Dutch this perk plus the money they recover annually from the tax authorities, need to come around.

This is especially the case with people who earn less than middle-income (less than 35,000 euros gross per year), the bank reported Tuesday. ABN did research on the use of holiday pay.

The vast majority of the more than 1,200 respondents pays the amount in whole or in part to their vacation. But 15 percent put it away as savings or need it for a major purchase or to pay off debts.

The bank noted furthermore that receive money from tax refunds, is also often used to go on trips. The survey also shows that 40 percent of workers without charges on holiday or vacation can. 30 percent of this money is precisely in order to clear.
