Restaurant Review Site IENS was taken over by the American entry chain TripAdvisor
The agreement also sold Seatme.nl booking site, which 2012 with the site of IENS founder Parisiens Boswijk merged. The deal is supported by merger and acquisition specialist Holland Corporate Finance, which acted as a sales supervisor for the shareholders of IENS. The purchase price is kept secret.
This is known as the largest online restaurant-rating site in the Netherlands, and every year has twenty million users who assess 20,000 restaurants. On the same site via Seatme.nl to book the restaurant.
Fold Booking.com
TripAdvisor, which conducts fierce competition with the Amsterdam-based Booking.com is a New opening in the Netherlands.
The site claims per week 4,000 new reviews. IENS and Seatme.nl be integrated by TripAdvisor LaFourchette, the reservation platform for restaurants in France, Spain and Switzerland.
Investment in growth
According to Wout van der Wijk, director of IENS- SeatMe, set TripAdvisor Lafouchette and the group is now able teg by rowing with online marketing and technology.
IENS Seatme.nl and continue to work from their headquarters in Amsterdam. Since its inception has been the competition from sites like Beaches and Kieskeurig.nl.
