Belgian tourists benefit from continued falling oil prices.
Tour operators TUI Belgium and the Belgian Thomas Cook calculate the reduced fuel costs for air travel to the customer. They made that Wednesday.
At TUI Netherlands, among others Scratch and Arke, and the Dutch Thomas Cook is no comparable fuel discount. The Belgians buy their own fuel, and that is independent of the procurement policy in the Netherlands, explain spokeswomen. In both countries there are also other offers.
The Belgian price reduction applies, for customers of Jetair, Sunjets.be and Neckermann who have booked a package holiday fly in the winter season. For all departures from March 1 they get settled automatically in their bill. The discount varies depending on the destination, between 4 and 33 euros per person. For new bookings prices are adjusted
