Leeuwarden – The housing market is recovering better than expected. In the last quarter of last year were sold in Friesland in 1193 houses, 25 percent more than the same period in 2013.
According to figures from the Dutch Association of Estate Agents (NVM). Throughout 2014 exchange 4074 Frisian houses of owner in 2949 against the previous year (+38 percent). The average selling price was 1 percent lower than in the third quarter.
Striking are the big differences between the regions where Southwest Friesland struck with a drop of nearly 12 percent. In South Friesland had to be paid 1.1 percent more, Northwest Friesland recorded an increase of 1.9 percent, Northeast Friesland goods saw 4.2 percent, while prices in Middle Friesland did not change compared to the third quarter.
