Last Fokker KLM unit disappears next year fleet – NU.nl

Currently flying KLM currently fourteen Fokker 70s. In 2010 disappeared the last Fokker 50 already at KLM and the 2012 aircraft of the type Fokker 100 were phased out.

Starting next fall, the smaller fleet of KLM and its subsidiary KLM Cityhopper currently consists exclusively of fuel-efficient Embraer 190 and 175. “They are better for the environment and provide a significant cost advantage,” said Director Boet Kreiken KLM Cityhopper.

Kreiken cites the disappearance of the Fokker aircraft “the end of an era.”
