McGregor fashion house gets deferred payment – NU.nl

This makes the Dutch company on Friday.

All the shops still remain open. The administrators examine all options for the company, including a sale as a whole or in parts. Also part Adam Menswear, a chain of more than fifty stores, is in receivership. This also applies to the part Emergo Textile Projects (ETP)

Growth

the group made in December to be known after years of debt and to bet on growth, especially online and in other countries. Former CEO Jeroen Schothorst said this that McGregor in the Netherlands was actually represented too strong, because customers shop more online.

McGregor said to still count on an annual turnover of 235 million euros and an operating profit of 10 million euros .

The clothing McGregor is also available at two hundred shop-in-shops and three thousand clothing which sells multiple brands.

The fashion house was founded in 1993, already existed some brands the company sells some time. Until 2006, the fashion house had a listing on the Amsterdam stock exchange.

McGregor is not the only fashion house into trouble. Recently received the clothing stores Cora Kemperman and HoutBrox even if deferred payment. Both chains have since gone bankrupt
