ABN Amro is the cost charged to prematurely repaid mortgage recalculate. The bank reported today in response to the TV program Radar. Customers complained that they had to pay a heavy fine to pay off their hyptheek or when refinancing their loan.
According to Radar counts ABN Amro with an interest rate that does not match the terms and favorable for the bank, but not for the customer. It is mainly about customers with individual discount on mortgage rates, which have repaid after January 1, 2013.
People with a mortgage from the bank would pay according to Radar an error by hundreds or even thousands of dollars too much penalty interest. Only when the customer pulls the bell, the bank fixes the flaw, reported the television program today.
For customers who want to take advantage of current low interest rates and therefore apply for a new mortgage is often unclear how ABN AMRO penalty interest calculated exactly. It is the bank not always using the correct interest rate. ABN Amro is investigating how many customers have been duped and will compensate them if necessary.
