The main segments for online purchases in 2015 were tickets to events, clothing or sporting goods and travel, holidays and accommodation. This enables the CBS. 45.1 percent of all Dutch sometimes bought tickets for events in 2015. By clothing or sporting goods was 42.4 percent and for things like vacations and travel, the percentage stood at 39.9 percent.
Seven out of ten Dutch people in 2015 in their own words at least once bought something online. Youth apparel and sporting goods are the most important segment. At 18-25 year olds 57.9 percent last year, ever made such a purchase, was among 25-35 year olds even 64.7 percent. In the elderly are vacations, travel and accommodations to the most popular.
Of the group of 55-65 year olds 40.4 percent sometimes a trip, holiday or accommodation booked online. Clothing or sports equipment standing here in second place with 31.3 percent. At 65- t / m 75 year olds are holidays and trips also on top, with more than a quarter.
