Former traders at Rabo Liborfraude get prison – NU.nl

The duo received relatively light sentences. The court sentenced Allen to two years in prison. Conti should be a year in the cell. The men stay pending an appeal at large, the court decided.

The verdict is a setback for prosecutors, who had demanded prison sentences of nine and five years at the merchants. According to Justice belonged shoddy the Libortarief to “the largest financial fraud cases in recent history.”
