Cabinet pulls tens of millions of extra lifting unguarded transitions – RTV Noord (press release) (Blog)

The government wants 25 million of additional out unguarded railway crossings to protect. That says state secretary Sharon Dijksma. There was a ten million is available for the approach of the transitions.

It is intended that a part of the transitions disappear. Other get – or additional warning signs. Nationwide, there are more than a hundred unguarded transitions. How many of them in the city of Groningen, is unclear.

Dijksma hopes the provinces and municipalities so far as to get a little extra money on the table. She said that in a talk show of a local radio station in the province of Overijssel.

Voslaan
The infamous transition to the Voslaan in Winsum is now addressed. There is a noodweg laid out and the level crossing is closed. There, derailed in november a train by a collision with a milk truck.
