When the printing of the Persgroep in The Hague Friday broke a strike. Among others, the AD Haagsche Courant Saturday is therefore not printed.
In total, 300,000 newspapers for the region The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam could not be disseminated. The workers want a better collective agreement. They demand a pay rise of over two percent and a single payment of 300 euros. The employees in the printing industry have been around since August 1, 2013 no longer collective agreement.
For now, the strike seems to have little sense. “The management remains eerily silent,” said Bernard Iren of the FNV. “If they do not respond quickly, we will announce new actions. Perhaps we put all four printers in the country quiet. “
