The Advertising Code Committee Albert Heijn tapped the fingers because of the crystal glass action of the supermarket chain. According to the advertising watchdog Albert Heijn customers wrongly given the impression that they could come to crystal glass through a savings campaign in an inexpensive way.

During the now completed action was Albert Heijn to advertise the opportunity to save for crystal glass. The supermarket company says the word “crystal glass” (instead of “crystal” or “crystal glass”) have been carefully chosen to avoid confusion.

Many customers thought it was glass to real crystals and the action seals were a hit on the Internet. When several customers noticed that the glasses were not crystal, she complained to the Advertising Code Committee. Which stated that Albert Heijn labeled crystal glass too much prior knowledge assumed by customers. The committee can not impose penalties but Albert Heijn recommends “no longer in such a way to advertise.”

,, AH Will advertise in this way and follow new complaints, we can them placing the non-compliance list, ” said Margot Bary, spokeswoman for the commission, against the newspaper.
