Heineken UK sells 111 pubs from the own chain Star Pubs & amp.; Bars to Admiral Taverns. The sale price is not disclosed, suggested the British subsidiary of the Dutch brewer today.
The sale is expected to close next month. In addition to the sales contract, the two parties agreed that the relevant Heineken pubs stays with ciders and beers.
After selling Heineken owns approximately 1100 pubs in the UK. The company announced earlier this year to invest in include the modernization and renovation of the pubs.
to 18 million pounds previously were already rumors about the sale of the pubs. The brewer got most of its pubs in the UK owned by the acquisition of Scottish & amp; Newcastle, together with the Danish Carlsberg, in 2008
