EasyJet and trade union CNS have reached an agreement on a collective labour agreement for the Dutch pilots. Thus, new actions of the job.
Pilots of EasyJet explained this year’s work several times down. They wanted less heavy schedules, more paid during illness, and a better pension. EasyJet had to because of the actions flights to cancel.
Pilots had individual contracts with EasyJet. Now there is for all the Dutch pilots for the first time a collective labour agreement, agreed to.
According to the CNS, there is a good negotiation result. “On all three of the key issues has this collective significant improvements for the EasyJet pilots, and now we can rightfully speak of a fair collective agreement,” says CNS president Steven Verhagen.
The cao is applicable retroactively from 1 July 2016 until 1 april 2019. The members of the union have yet to about the agreement to comment. Easyjet has worldwide 2800 pilots, and 75 of them are stationed in the Netherlands.
