Existing homes were in July, 1.9% more than in the same month last year. This is evidenced by the price index of the Central Bureau of Statistics Studies (CBS), and the Land Registry.
House prices rise now for the fourth consecutive month compared to a year earlier and are now at the same level as in May 2003 compared to the peak in the housing market in 2008, 19.1% of dwellings decrease in value.
Monday was already known that the Land Registry in July, 13,833 homes were sold. This is an increase of over 40% compared with the same month in 2013
The CBS and the Land Registry maintain the transactions of existing houses at the time of transfer of ownership at the notary. The period between the sale and transfer of ownership is about two months. Sales in the intervening time has not been included in the figures by Statistics Netherlands and the Land Registry processes.
